While Shea Holbrook didn’t come from a racing background she’s never been more sure of anything in her life, and that’s her passion for racing. She grew up a nationally ranked competitive water skier but traded in her skis for a set of wheels when she rode shotgun in 2006 during a Richard Petty Experience.
Shea debuted her first professional season race in 2010 finishing sixth in the championship. In 2011, Shea’s first page of history was written when she became the first woman to ever win a Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car at the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Shea states “SAYiWON’T means rising to the challenge and achieving aspirations you’ve set forth, regardless of the obstacles thrown in your way.” She says her biggest challenge has been “believing in myself. There are constantly obstacles of all kinds being thrown in your way that can beat you down and make you question yourself. No matter what your profession, sport, etc... I think everyone can agree there’s been times when you thought about throwing in the towel. Whenever there’s an ounce of doubt, I remember where I came from and where I am today.”

Shea received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing from the University of Central Florida in May of 2012 while competing a full season and operating her own team, Shea Racing. That same year she became a part of the TRUECar Racing Women Empowered Initiative for 2012-2013. She was also recognized and honored as a thriving and leading woman in motorsports with various organizations and was featured in Teen Vogue. Shea finished fourth in the 2012 Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car Championships with two podium finishes. In 2013, she expanded Shea Racing - Shea Holbrook into a multi-car effort driving for her own team.

“Fear is a state of mind, will is an action taken.” Shea lives by this quote and believes through commitment and determination, anything is possible. “SAYiWON’T!” Shea has raised tens of thousands of dollars and awareness for her charity of choice, Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD -, which benefits Duchenne muscular dystrophy, an illness that has affected her own family. SAYiWON’T was honored to team up with Shea Racing to make the “End Duchenne” Challenge Tees to help raise money for this cause. She is also the founder of the new social media campaign, #SteelOvaryNation, a brand representing female drivers, engineers, mechanics, broadcasters, bloggers, fans, car and motorsport gurus.

When asked to describe herself in one word, Shea responded “energetic”. We describe her as a pioneer... SAYiWON’T!
