Recently retired from the PBR, Luke Snyder has already cemented his name as one of the best athletes of all time. Last week he was the first cowboy inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall Of Fame.

As a professional bull rider, Luke found success early in his career. He was the 2001 PBR Rookie of the Year and won the World Finals event title that same year. Ten years later, he outlasted 39 other riders and won the inaugural title of "Last Cowboy Standing”. He set an unprecedented record of competing in 275 consecutive Built Ford Tough Series events. That alone shows the SAYiWON’T mentality he carried with him throughout his career. He states, “SAYiWON’T stands for having an attitude to give it your all in every aspect of your life. Whether you are an athlete or just with your everyday job, you should always strive to be your best.” Luke says, “the biggest challenge I faced as an athlete was breaking my neck and sitting out for 3 months. I recovered by just missing the sport so much and thinking about it every single day… I couldn't wait to return. The biggest challenge I had in my personal life was finding the right person to settle down with. I overcame that by finding Jen!”
When asked to describe himself in one word, Luke replied, “DRIVEN”. SAY I WON’T!

Luke plans to stay involved in the sport of bull riding by doing appearances for the PBR. He continues to rope, fish, and hunt. He will be doing commercials and store openings for Bass Pro Shops. Watch for his hunting and fishing show soon on the Outdoor Channel
We wish Luke continued success in his retirement.
