We met Brendon over a decade ago when he first came to the US to chase his dreams of competing in the PBR. He was a young, talented, Australian kid with a ton of talent. Brendon was not only good at riding bulls, he was good at everything he did. We used to wakeboard a lot when we first met and he could have been a pro wakeboarder if he desired. He’s been a great spokesperson for the sport of bull riding, a great friend, team member, and role model for SAYiWON’T. He’s had his ups and downs during his time here in the US. He’s been injured multiple times, cut from the tour, and told he was too old to compete with the young guys... but he didn’t let any of that stop his rise to the top. When the times got tough, Brendon got tougher. He says the biggest challenge that he’s had to overcome was “coming back from a bad wreck I had in Omaha, NE. A bull jumped on my chest and stomach and lacerated my liver, bruised my lung, and broke some ribs. The mental part of overcoming that was a huge challenge.” Brendon has always kept a SAYiWONT attitude when it came to bull riding and in life. Every time someone would tell him that he couldn’t do it, Brendon would prove them wrong! He says, “SAYiWON’T means a challenge you can give yourself every day in every way. If things get tough or a little daunting, or if someone thinks you can't do something, tell them and yourself...SAY i WON’T...AND i WiLL!

Brendon is about to face another big challenge in his life as he retires from the sport of bull riding. This is his last PBR World Finals and then he will retire after the Brendon Clark Invitational in Australia next month. Brendon is pursuing a career in training horses and plans to stay involved with bull riding through commentating and his Touring Pro Event. His biggest challenge yet... becoming the “World’s Best Dad”! Congratulations to Brendon and his wife, Alli, who are expecting their first child. We wish you the best of luck with your future career and your new beginning! We are sure you will continue to chase your dreams and achieve your goals. When asked to describe himself in one word, Brendon replied, “DETERMINED!”. SAY I WON’T!

Good luck Mate!
